How to use wood sanding machine?

 Ⅰ.Before starting the sander, check the following:

1. Check the voltage and air pressure for normal operation.

2. Check for debris inside the machine.

3. Check the sanding belt for integrity.

4. Check the speed regulator oil level.

5. Check the sanding frame screws for tightness.

6. Check the infrared window and reflector for cleanliness.

7. Check the sanding motor belt for proper tension.

8. Check for proper vacuuming.

9. Check for proper grounding.

10. Check for sufficient compressed air and lubricant.

. Ⅱ.Regularly lubricate the rotating and swinging parts of the sander.

Ⅲ. Before using the sander, tension the sanding belt and check that it is functioning properly and that the belt is installed in the correct direction.

Ⅳ. Turn on the main power supply and check that the brake disc is disengaged. Never start the machine.

Ⅴ. Before starting the main motor, check that the sanding frame is oscillating properly. Start each main motor one by one, waiting for one to operate normally before starting the other. Observe the sanding belt's oscillation every time you start the main motor.

Ⅵ. Before feeding the workpiece, measure the dimensions of the workpiece with an oil-marked caliper. Adjust the feed belt height based on the measurements before conducting a test sanding. The sanding depth should not exceed 0.5 mm at a time, and the width of the workpiece should not exceed 1 meter.

Ⅶ. Sanders are only suitable for sanding wood materials. Workpieces must not contain metal, glass, sand, or other hard, sharp materials.

Ⅷ. During the sanding process, constant attention must be paid to the machine's operation. If any abnormality is detected, the machine must be stopped for inspection. In emergencies such as endangering personal safety, equipment safety, or the sanding belt being misaligned or broken, the machine must be stopped using the emergency brake. Do not use the emergency brake during normal operation.

Ⅸ. Wearing gloves is prohibited. Female workers with long hair must wear a hat and tuck their hair inside.

Ⅹ. Maintain full focus when operating the sander. Do not leave the machine. Do not touch the conveyor belt while the machine is running. Do not reach inside the machine. Do not adjust the sanding rack height while the machine is running.
When finished, shut down the machine according to proper procedures. Clean all dust inside and outside the machine, turn off all power and compressed air, and drain the air compressor and sander oil-water separator.
